Research Specialty:
Neurobiology, Bioinformatics, Developmental biology, Cell biology
1) Brain development, evolution, function and disease.
We focus on the spatial and temporal developmental patterns of the primate brain; cross-species brain evolutionary features; fate determination, activation and regeneration of neural stem cells; molecular cellular mechanisms of neurological diseases, etc.
2) Single-cell sequencing data processing and analysis.
We focus on establishing and developing methods to analyze multi-omics data such as single cell, spatial transcriptomics and epigenomics.
3) Interactions between brain and peripheral organs.
We focus on the information communication and interaction between brain and internal organs such as heart, liver, and spleen.
